1. I could not find any reference to "Dr.Howard Steingeril" in a wide-ranging web search (except your blog of course).
ReplyDelete2. I could not find any reference to Hamburg University and Gayatri mantra in me web-search (except your blog of course).
3. In my web-search, I could not find any hits of the radio-broadcasts you speak of.
What does it even mean to say that something "produced 110,000 sound waves per second"? It is a meaningless sentence.
Before I conclude that Rajamani is perpetrating a hoax, can you substantiate any of the things stated through pointing me to something that I can read/verify independently?
I am a great lover of Indic traditions, and I truly believe that if Rajamani/you are putting out false information as above, you are actually harming the cause of making the world aware of the universal applicability of Indic traditions. Desist.
Lastly, to truly understand Indic traditions, read the book "The Heathen in His Blindness" by Dr. Balagangadhara. This is available for free download, do a web search. Also read other articles by Dr. Balu.

It is immaterial what the particular Howard Dr. does or the Radio station broadcasts or not. There is no doubt in the statement or Mantra . I have all the faith and what Rishi Viswamitra has done centuries back , Dr.Howard might be getting glimpses.
ReplyDeleteI agree with TheAwaaz - I too searched the whole web as much as possible - and I could not find a single trace of this Dr. Howard Steingeril. Of course I believe in this mantram, but fake articles like this will obscure the truth!
ReplyDeleteWho so ever started this chain of emails is doing disservice to the great mantra as the previous comments state. I could find NO TRACE of this research.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt we have a rich heritage to cherish, but such hyper chronicles rather leave the readers exasperated
ReplyDeleteThis link is worth a read for all above.

Extracts from article --
[[[OM BHUR BHUVAH SWAH:
Bhur the earth, bhuvah the planets (solar family), swah the Galaxy. We observe that when an ordinary fan with a speed of 900 RPM (rotations Per minute) moves, it makes noise. Then, one can imagine, what great noise would be created when the galaxies move with a speed of 20,000 miles per second. This is what this portion of the mantra explains that the sound produced due to the fast-moving earth, planets and galaxies is Om.]]
So does it mean that Om is heard at 110,000 sound waves per second??
this is very likely ****fake****. i can't find the good dr. steingril or his affiliation(s) on the internet. in addition, the language used is highly unscientific. no scientist would ever say that a mantra is "capable of developing specific spiritual potentialities."
ReplyDeletethe popularity of this text seems to indicate that hindus (indians?) still desire validationfrom the west. the fact that dr. steingril is a westerner and that too an american gives us, dare i say, permission to be proud of our own heritage.
hopefully, we'll be rid of these colonial inner demons soon.
Please do not wrong research about this great manthra. There is no scientist by such name and result is not published by reputed refereed journal. Please do not tarnish the name of Hindu religion using false names.
Delete20,000 waves per second is the maximum number of waver which a human ear can hear.
