Nearly 38 species of birds spotted at Vaduvur Bird Sanctuary

Birds have extended their stay at the Vaduvur Bird Sanctuary near Mannargudi due to the availability of water in the lake. Thousands of birds can be seen chirping in the early hours and in the evenings. They are perched on the trees in the mounds created by the forest department in the sprawling lake abutting the beautiful Sri Kothandaramaswamy Temple at Vaduvur. A watch tower on the Thanjavur-Mannargudi roadside helps bird watchers to have a close look of the winged visitors.

According to K. Soundarapandiyan, Wild Life Warden and S. Chandrasekaran, Forest ranger, nearly 20,000 birds visited the lake this season i.e., from October to February. Nearly 38 species of birds have been spotted. The birds that visit the lake every year are the Open bill stork, Cattle egret, Little egret, Pelicans, Grey Pelicans, Darter, Little Cormorants, Common coots, Little tern, Pond heron, Night heron, Painted stork, Common keat, Kingfisher and so forth. The birds are best viewed between 5.30 a.m. to 6.30 a.m., and between 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The birds may leave the sanctuary by the second fortnight of March. Following this, the forest department will take up desilting of the lake at a cost of Rs. Two lakh. The Ipomea will be removed at a cost of Rs. 60,000 and a visitors road will be formed along the lake for three kms, Mr. Chandrasekaran said. Eco Development Committees have been formed in villages around Vaduvur for joint forest management. A six member committee will help the forest department in the management of the bird sanctuary and forest in the surrounding areas.

There is a forest guest house in Vaduvur.

வெட்டப்பட்ட வீடியோ Mp4 பார்மேட்டில் My Documents->My Videos போல்டரில் சேமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். ஆனால் இதில் உள்ள குறை என்று பார்த்தால் தேவையான பகுதி வீடியோவை ஓட விட்டால் மட்டுமே கட் செய்ய முடியும். இருப்பினும் வேகமாக எளிமையான முறையில் கட் செய்து விடVLC மீடியா பிளேயரைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.

PROFESSIONAL Life Assurance has launched a micro insurance product that is meant to cover people in the low-income bracket.
The product called Bantu Bonse is an insurance policy that will cover people at the bottom of the lowest pad and will offer financial protection even at death.
Professional Life Assurance managing director Rajagopal Krishnaswamy said the product is the first-ever insurance policy tailored for low-income groups.
The insurance policy will enable clients buy insurance cover at a minimum of K30,000 annually and offers clients financial protection in an event of death.
Mr Krishnaswamy said with people’s lives in developing countries being characterised by constant economic insecurity, there is a growing need for insurance policies to cushion risks.
“It is estimated that only three percent of the low-income people in the world’s 100 poor countries benefit from a micro insurance product, leaving approximately two billion people unprotected. Of those two billion more than half are women,” he said.
He said there is need for people to utilise the micro insurance product if they are to cushion the impact of general risks such as illness and death.
Mr Krishnaswamy said this when he officially launched the Bantu Bonse insurance policy last week.
At the same occasion Pensions Scheme Authority (PIA) registrar Martin Libinga said the insurance plan will entail positive effects on the Zambian insurance market.
“Introduction of micro insurance products such as the Bantu Bonse life plan will help to increase insurance market penetration as more and more Zambians will be able to afford to take up insurance services,” he said.
Mr Libinga said insurance penetration in Zambia is very low as compared to other developing countries in Africa, largely due to lack of awareness on the benefits of insurance among the public coupled with high premium levels which low-income groups cannot afford to pay.
He said it is vital for insurance firms to develop policies that will favour people from all walks of life.

எக்சல் (Excel) தகவல்களை வரிசை, நெடுவரிசையாக அட்டவணை வடிவில் சேமித்து வைக்கவும் எளிதாகப் படிக்கவும் உதவும் மென்பொருளாக இருக்கிறது. எக்சலின் Table பார்மேட்டில் இருக்கும் தகவல்களை உங்கள் வலைத்தளத்தில் /பிளாக்கில் சேர்ப்பதற்கு நினைத்தால் அதனை HTML வடிவில் மாற்றியாக வேண்டும். அதற்கு எக்சல் கோப்பை Save as web என்று கொடுத்து சேமிக்க வேண்டும். இதற்குப் பின்னர் அந்த Html கோப்பில் Table ஆரம்பிக்கும் இடத்திலிருந்து முடிவடையும் வரிகள் வரை கண்டுபிடித்து காப்பி செய்து பிளாக்கரில் போட வேண்டும். இது ஒரு சிக்கலான வேலையாக அமைந்து விடும்.

இதனை எளிமையாக மாற்றித்தர Tableizer என்ற இணையதளம் உதவுகிறது. இந்த தளம் உங்களின் எக்சல் கோப்பில் இருக்கும் தகவல்களை HTML வடிவில் எளிமையாகவும் அழகாகவும் இணையதளத்தில் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுமாறு மாற்றித் தருகிறது. எக்சல் கோப்பில் உங்களுக்குத் தேவையான செல்களை முதலில் காப்பி செய்து கொண்டு இந்த தளத்திற்கு சென்று அங்கே உள்ள பெட்டியில் பேஸ்ட் செய்யவும்.
* உங்களுக்குப் பிடித்த எழுத்து அளவினையும் (Font Size), எழுத்துரு வகையினையும் (Font Name), தலைப்பிற்கான வண்ணத்தையும் (Header Color) தேர்வு செய்து கொள்ளவும். பின்னர் Tableize it என்ற பட்டனைக் கிளிக் செய்தால் அழகான HTML Table தயார்.

* இந்த நிரல்வரிகளை காப்பி செய்து உங்கள் பிளாக்கில் பதிவு எழுதும் போது வேண்டிய இடத்தில் Edit Html என்பதைக் கிளிக் செய்து பேஸ்ட் செய்து கொண்டால் பதிவில் அட்டவணை வடிவில் அழகாகத் தோன்றும். உங்களுக்கு HTML/CSS போன்றவற்றில் அனுபவம் இருந்தால் நிரல்வரிகளில் இன்னும் மாற்றங்களை செய்து அழகாக்கலாம்.
